Alana Wang is a pastry chef. She grew up outside Seattle, trained at the French Pastry School, and cooked at Canlis, Sepia and Jeong before running pastry at Oriole and Vendador. Most recently she was pastry chef for HIS Hospitality, sharing the counter at Bonyeon with chef Alex Ching.

Her cooking leans on her Taiwanese American upbringing: Eastern textures folded into the flavors she grew up with in the West.
